When men stop judging us on our looks then we can stop judging them by their bank account.
I frequently come across the attitude, primarily from men, that it is perfectly fine to judge a woman almost exclusively on physical appearance, yet if we judge them based on money, then we are shallow.
Both are stupid and shallow. |

Amen sista!
If I were rich, then it wouldnt matter how much money my partner had. But until then, Id like to know that we could feed ourselves and our family. I am quite happy to work and earn my own money, but theres not a lot women can do when theyre pregnant or soon after child brith.
For me, its about stability and support for the family.... not material posessions or gifts (although I like that too but its not important). |

Right on. At least the stupid shallow things (money, resources, power)women traditionally look for in a man have something possibly practical to them. Looks however are just frivolous and don't last as long as you usually do anyways. |

I guess the looks thing men look for in women could be arguably related to some ancient desire for healthy women. But then again we would want healthy men, so I dunno.
Both are essentially frivolous for modern people anyways. Give me intelligence, a good character, and a sense of humour and I'm happy!
Good in bed is also beneficial. |
