Isn't Endofthewor1d from New Orleans?
If so, I hope he & his family will be safe. Well, even if he's not from there.
Say, why have I met three Koreans in the past... five months? ... who are talking about, thinking about, planning to emigrate to South Africa? Will they be safe? |

No, they'll be in South Africa.
I briefly dated a Korean Girl who studyed in SA not too long ago. She loved it once she got used to it. Her twin sister went there too. They didn't seem to think it was too bad if you weren't stupid. She said when she rode the trains and such she took pains to look like she was from there, but that's about it.
SA has a long history of Chinese and Indian communities under the British Enpire I guess, and apparently they were considered fairly respectable, so at least they won't look like extraterrestrials there or anything.
But why on earth anyone would want to go there is beyond me.
But let's post a thread and find out. |

I also hope 'Chantelle' from "Are You Hot!" is well taken care of. Can't disagree with the judges decision on that one!
I agree tzechuk. Nature can be a brutal force. Take care of you families... |

I only lived there two years (2002-2004 during my MBA program) but NOLA is the kind of city that becomes a part of you. I didn't think I'd miss the South, but I do. When I went back for a visit this spring I wanted to stay. I'll always be part New Orleanean. |
