Does anyone know how much money can be sent from Korea to America each year without being taxed additionally? I know there is an initial fee from bank to bank, but I heard that you can only send 'x' amount of money each year...

Anyone know any more about this?

I have sent about 15 000 US$ home this year from Hana. Obviously you can't send it all at once, but if you can avoid having them stamp your pass-port, it seems that they don't easily realize how much you have sent. Try going to several different branches, they will probably send it, then ask for your pass-port; so tell them you don't have it, show them a photo-copy, or say good-bye and leave the second the transaction is finished.
