wow, i have to say i'm impressed with the changes they've made. last time i read anything on this (what i believed to be at the time) giant suck fest was that it was going to have nothing to do with mars and nothing to do with hell. effectively making it having nothing to do with the game 'doom.' looks like they fixed that up.
the first person thing in the trailer.... i'm just hoping they don't impliment that as much in the actual movie, because i can see that getting pretty gay pretty quick. i'm pretty sure it's going to end up like 'resident evil' and look kinda sweet in the trailer when in actuality it blows ass. we'll see.
let's see how much more modern entertainment can mess up one of my all time favorite games. |

If Doom doesn't blow it'll be a first.
At least the bar is set ridiculously low- I think the best game-to-movie adaption has been Final Fantasy and I'm not even sure that one really counts.
How many movies were based on D&D?
Dunno, but how many of them sucked?
ALL OF THEM. |

I'm waiting for "commander Keen" to be a movie....
All 2D, scrolling scenes. Lots of jumping and leaping with only profile shots.
Anyhow, I watched the trailer for Doom...maybe it might perhaps be not excellent. |

I dont care what anyone says, this movie is going to be AWESOME; just like Double Dragon and Super Mario Bros.
But I'm really waiting on Frogger to come out. |

I thought Angelina Jolie made a kick-ass Lara Croft. And Resident Evil wasn't so bad. Prince of Persia was such a fun game, one of my all time favorites, I can't imagine a movie adaptation though. Guiltily liked Mortal Kombat. |

Remember Tron, the groundbreaking movie in terms of computer graphics that became a popular video arcade game? |
