I am considering a job at either a Busan ECC or a Daejeon ECC. If you know anything about either school or prefer one city over the other, please let me know! Thanks!

Which Busan ECC? There are quite a few. I worked at Keumjeong (Geumjeong) ECC. It was not a bad place to work. BUT...when I was there, there was a female director who had, in her previous dealings with foreigners, been known as the snake lady or something like that...However, enough contact with foreign teachers over the years taught her to be nice to our faces and work through the academic supervisor. I had no problems with this arrangement. Still, I thought I heard through the grapevine that there's now a male director. Anyway, like I said, you need to state which ECC you're talking about.

I've never been to Daejeon. I liked Busan, but if I ever went back to Korea, it would probably be to Seoul just because you can find a lot more Western goods etc. Still, as that's not one of the choices you're considering, I would reccomend Busan as a good place if you like the Beach. Ask the recruiter, or whoever got you the jobs to give you the e-mails of the foreign teachers who are currently working there. That's what I did before I went there.
