HI. Just bought a new laptop from Dell (funny, made in China and Korea) and had it shipped here. Wohoo! what joy what fun... but now I have to charge it! I know my bro just used an adapter when he came to visit me when he used his computer, but should I get some kind of voltage converter in order to plug it in and be safe?

Thanx.

Laptop power supplies are invariably multi-voltage with automatic sensor.

Check the power pack and look for 110-220 Volts. If that is there, as I am sure it will be, plug it in. No external transformer is necessary.
