Go to Lotte Department store, where they often have Serta mattresses for sale. Sit on them, lay on them. Test them.
Then walk out and find a cheaper place to buy them. |

I've got a Simmons Ultra BeautyRest or something like that. Cost about 1 million won but totally worth it. My back and shoulders love me! |

Yeah, definitely the Simmons. That's what my school provided to me. It's just so darn comfy.
I have no idea where they bought it though so I'm really no help. Sorry. |

I was just at Lotte Dept. Store last night. The cheapest they had was the "Jasmine" model and it was 1.4 million. Eeeep! Anyone know where I can get it cheaper? |

You're always going to pay out of your ass at dept stores.
You can buy Sealy, Simmons, Serta, etc..boxspring/mattress sets on sites like www.interpark.com and www.hmall.com , usually between 600K-800K.
Around Nonhyeon Stn (Line 7), there are a lot of furniture and bedding shops. Worth a visit for comparison shopping. And I've been told about Sealy beds being sold somewhere around Namdaemun, but I've yet to get back there and look around for them. |

Costco has Simmons or Sealy (I forget which, but they're rated #1 and #2) queens and kings for about 700,000-800,000 won. This is a good price. They have both the memory foam and the kind where you can drop a bowling ball on one side and not feel it on the other (Independent spring system or something). Great fun.
Department Stores will be much more expensive.
Costco yearly memberships are about 30,000 won. |
