Anyone here climb Mt. Suraksan in Northern Seoul? I would appreciate any information regarding the hike such as estimated time to complete, conditions of the trail, services available etc.
Thanks,

It's not difficult, but it'll be crowded if you go on a weekend. Starting early, you'd be up and down be early afternoon, including breaks, though I can't recall excactly how many hours it'd take.
My advice: stay in a yeogwon near the park the night before (getting away from home is always good). Start early, beat the crowds. Head home and relax. |

Did it once- after 7am the trails fill up with crowds of noisy hikers- particularly on weekends. It becomes hard to find any quiet/unnocupied tracks to sit down.
To me its more enjoyable to find a little-known mouhtain where you can be left alone, than head to the well-known overcrowded ones. |
