Biggest turn off on a date is a guy who's cellphone goes off or even worse a guy who answers it

I guess you've never gone out with a Korean girl, then.

I never planned on being here long enough to get a cell phone. But when I'm at home, and out on dates, I usually turn my cell phone off and put it away...that's what voicemail is for.

Somebody here at Dave's mentioned a guy who turned off his handphone and asked the date to turn hers off as well.

I thought that was class.

I must do likewise. I vote 'Turn it off!'

It depends. If it's a blind date, you should arrange to have a friend call after 30 minutes... if the girl turns out to be ugly, you can pretend the call is about an emergency and you have to cut the date short. If she's a babe, you apologize and turn off the phone.

Don't own a phone... but the vibration aspect sounds like a 'Partners and Toys' Smile thing.

One should display some manners, unlike most Koreans. Smile
