Hello people who hate to iron,
I saw somewhere on another thread that having shirts washed and ironed here was cheaper than home (whereever that was). I went to my local shop near SNU and the price was 2000 a shirt. So I checked near a friends place at Hong-Ik and it was 1000/shirt for wash (3 kg / 7000 won) and another 1500 for iron! 2500 Won per shirt for wash and iron!! OK, my home is Thailand and it is 10 Bt / shirt for wash and iron (250 Won) and I know it will be more than that here. But even in California it was $1.75 a shirt. Am I missing something about these rediculous prices for wash and iron? Taxis are cheap, food is cheap. Why is iron so crazy expensive. OK, I know I should buy an iron, just waiting for my first payday.
Does anyone get shirts washed and ironed for under 1500 Won?
Thanks,
Drew
