There was a thread on profitable business ideas in Korea, but I can't find it now. It must have gotten bleeped.
Anyway, I just thought of another good idea:
Koreans are always eager to find native speakers to practice English with, right? Right!
And they complain that there is a shortage of native speakers in Korea to practice English with, right? Right!
And some of us--myself included--don't want to speak English with every single English student we meet on the street, right? Right!
And there are millions of unemployed people in English-speaking countries, right? Right!
And there are millions of people in English-speaking countries who are employed, but are eager to earn an easy buck, right? Right!
And to converse in English doesn't require lofty qualifications, but only a gift of gab, right? Right!
And Internet technology makes it easy for any two people to have a conversation, right? Right!
Then why not start a Website whereby Korean customers can converse with English-speaking employees?
I don't want to start such a Website myself;
I just think it would be a good idea for someone else to start such a Website.
If you want to pick up this idea and run off with it, be my guest. |
