I am currently considering accepting a job at Jung Chul English school in Namyangju City. It will be my first teaching job and my first time in Korea (although I have travelled extensively around Asia). Any information on the city or school would be greatly appreciated.

Big franchise, i think over 300 schools...i worked at one for 2 years and it was well run and never had a problem..
In saying that I knew another in the same city that was a nightmare and would never step foot in the place..
It depends on who runs it...
The program is very boring but perfect for a person who has never taught english and is looking for some first year skills as it is all done by remote control on TV and the kids just repeat(but you can mix it up a bit)..
the books, while dry are well made and effective for progressive taching however |
