Normally this Sunday but I won't be around to host so might be delayed until the following Sunday or next month.

I think book exchanges top What the Book since the latter has gotten so cheap with trade-ins lately.

It depends on how much they're going to resell it for. Unless things have changed, they generally offer you half of however much they're going to sell it for. They don't give you money though. They give you in-store credit that you can use to buy other used books (not new books or magazines).

You can check out their website for prices on used books. If the book is in good condition then it might resell for 5000 to 10,000 Won. So they'd give you 2500 to 5000 Won. That's for a book in good condition. If it's been well used then they'll give you a lot less.

You're better off going to a book exchange or swapping books with other people in your area (usually you can find local groups on facebook).

The maximum the store gives for a used book is now 5,000 won. Sad

Next month, but if you are desperate for reading material pm me. I live in Itaewon and have three Costco bags of books you can look through. Usually take some of them each month to the exchange.

This Sunday from 1-3 pm. We'll meet at Homestead Coffee on the main street of Itaewon. Just down the road from the Hamilton Hotel, across the street from Kookmin Bank(KB). Look for books on a table.

This Sunday at Homestead Coffee in Itaewon, 1:00 to 3:00 pm.

Let me know if you are coming (and what time) as I sometimes leave early if no one shows up.

I know it's a bit early, but is there any word on when the book exchange will be in August?

As it looks like nobody is interested in coming I am going to cancel it. If you are in need of books pm me and we can arrange to meet at a convenient time. I have a few boxes of books to choose from.

Anyone interested in coming to the Book Exchange this Sunday (1-3 pm) let me know you are coming and what time so I stick around. It's no fun sitting in a coffee shop for two hours by myself with a bag of books.
