sorry, i'm confused: where is the book exchange held? the last post i saw that referred to location said that the school where it was held will no longer rent the room for those purposes.

i'd like to come to the book exchange next month, please let me know where it will be and how to get there.

sorry if this is redundant

Does this sale still take place. If so then please note exit 4 of the metro station is not the same as exit 4 of the underground shopping centre. As to where exit 4 of the metro station is, beats me. Maybe someone could clarify.

Exit 4 of the subway station is in the opposite direction of the turnstiles close to the shopping area. When you go down the stairs from the subway, head away from the shopping exit. It is at the end of the hall and you have to go up an escalator on the right before you get to the exit 4 turnstiles. Hope this helps.

Are you going to have an exchange in January 2007 (whoohoo, Happy New Year!)
BTW, Yeongdeungpo Subway Station is #139 (I'm not in Seoul much so need these little notes).

If it is at the same location:

The last posting from lawyertood says up past the crest of the hill: that hill is the same road that Domino's is on, correct? In December, I had a lovely tour of the back lanes and streets of the neighbourhood. Saw some other lost souls wandering around, too.

Please confirm which hill: there sure are alot of hills there!
Thanx,

Liz

Another place to exchange books (at low cost):

There is a used bookshop near the Kyobo Building in Gwanghwamun. It's run by the charity "Beautiful Store". They accept donated books and re-sell them at low prices, normally 1000 to 3000 Won. There is a small selection of English books.

Directions are as follows: Come out of Kyobo Books and go through that little alley beside Burger King. At the end of the alley, turn left and walk up about 20 meters. The bookshop is on the 3rd floor of the Cheong-Jin Building (청진빌딩). On the 2nd floor of this building is a bar called "The Bar". There is a big sign for it ("The Bar") on the front of the building.

website for the charity is: www.bstore.org

Wonderful. Been looking for a book exchange forever.

Is there someone we can call in case we get lost? If you don't want to post it here then please PM me.

Thanx
