From Yahoo News.

I saw this blurb on CNN. I wasn't impressed. As others said before me, too little, too late. The issue is that he couldn't see it until he was bashed upside the head for two weeks. That's not insight.

And the quoted portion just reinforces the idea that *he* does jot realize he actually screwed up with his appointments, budget cuts, staying on vacation, the fake photo ops, etc. All he is doing here is saying, "Some things are wrong, so since I'm the Pres, guess I gotta make some noise to th effect of, 'Gosh, my team really blew it!' (but not ME.)"

Further evidenced by the way Brown was handled: Gosh, let's reassign him 'cause he's done his job and we need a day-to-day manager now. [sic].

Lordy....

I've come to realize. contrary to earlier assertions in almost three years of posting here, that Bush is not the anti-christ, he's just a mediocre character, an incompetent president, that history will giggle at.

Unfortunatly, his legacy is going to be so grand it won't be a giggle, it'll be a "shudder and awe." But, no he's not evil, just a complete *bleep*ing idiot who will go down as the single most damaging person in history who wasn't actually evil.

Just the environmental policies alone have set things back decades when you consider the exponential nature of climate change. Once it gets rolling...

Well, at first I thought, I guess you're right, he has started what we must surely now call, a civil war. Another 72, and counting, dead from a single attack http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20050914/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq

But the neocons wanted this war anyway, with or without Bush. It is perhaps a blessing that they put such a clot at the helm.

It takes him 2 weeks to realize that Katrina could of been handled better.

I swear, a chimpanzee with a telephone could of sent more support to the region then Bush did.

Indeed, me too.

I even erased the pentagram off my apartment floor.

I'm gonna bury my cynicism and plaster-cast a new optimism based on waiting for "the big mistake".

At which point I'm 'unna rip his kidneys out with criticism.

No Republican will ever be elected after I save my mojo till Gopher signals that it's time for the revolution!

The change will be dramatic. Razz
