I've recently purchased a great oven and now I want to do some baking. So I'm wondering if anyone has seen anywhere (preferably in Daegu) that sells electric hand mixers (not the Braun multiquick). I've had a look in E-Mart and Walmart, but they don't sell them. Could anyone suggest anywhere else I could look?

if you can get to JISAN DONG, i know a place.
starting at Jisan Donga Department store, walk east. once you have past the department store, turn left away from the main street, then make the first right at the small street that L-curves to the left.
there is a baking supply store (second shop on the left) that sells what you're looking for. the sign is black and white, and has the word ũ. (cake)
Buses 407, 404, 401, 564 stop at the deparment store. |

Cool! I live like a 10-minute bus ride from Jisan. I'm gonna check out that place on Monday. I can't wait.
Thanks The Eye. |

ehm... well, apparently they no longer have mixers. i went there today for some spices and i didn't see any on the shelf.
it looks like the store has completely done away with electronic stuff.
sorry if you trekked over there. |

The Eye, you were right in the first place. I went to the baking supply store today, looking for other things that I needed, and what do I happen to see? An electric hand mixer! I was over the moon! I guess she must have recently put one on the shelf. |

If you have a Home Plus nearby, try there first. They have one that's a Japanese brand that works suitably well. If you can't get to HP, http://www.yoricome.com carries the same one.
It's around 30,000 won either way. I bought mine from yoricome.com and it works just fine. |
