Does anyone know anything about music programs at a university in Seoul(specifically vocal/operatic programs?). How good are they? Is it possible to take private lessons with a university professor there? Would you need a student visa for that?
A friend of mine is moving to Seoul with her husband, and she's inquiring... |

Having lessons for any musical instruments in Korea, including voice, is extremely expensive.
My husband asked for me - I am a trained soprano and wanted to continue my training - and we were told that to have one lesson that lasts for an hour, we would have to pay upwards of 500,000 won with a SNU professor.
It's crazy.
May be you can have lessons with a graduate student? I am sure they will be cheaper. |
