I've been having bad dreams for about 2 weeks now. Never happened before in my life (well, I've had bad dreams before, but not a consecutive run of them). All I can attribute it to is that I'm getting married in 3 weeks, but I'm happy about that, and I'm not nervous, or have any negative feelings. Maybe because it's a major life change.

I don't want to bore anyone with details, but basically one was about ogre mummys that I was buried alive with Shocked and last night I dreamt I saw a Korean Air 747 crash into a mountain.

...I don't know, but I think I'll change my travel plans and fly Asiana instead of Korean Air my next flight to Thailand... As for the "ogre mummies" thats probably 'cause you saw some of the ghastly ideas for indy films on the "Anybody want to make a movie?" thread...

The pre-wedding nightmare support group!

From what I understand, it's normal. If you aren't aware of the anxiety you have about this upcoming momentous occasion, you should perhaps try meditating, or some other way to get more in touch with yourself.

Cheers,
Q~

Ha ha ha- I had no idea there were discussion forums for people getting married! I guess there's a discussion forum for everything!! No, I didn't read the movie thread. I can't believe I had a dream about ogre mummies- the last time I dreamt about monsters was a good 20 years ago!!!!!!!!

Everyone escaped from the plane in my dream, btw- the plane exploded after everyone got away! God, it was vivid, though.......

Heh. The new uniform for the KAL flight attendants is hot- the pants are ivory and you can see their panties- even a thong shows through. If they don't want to show their panties, they're going to have go commando (don't know if I can use that when referring to women...).

Well, based on that info, I guess I'll have to change my travel plans again and book KAL ... (I 'spoze it's still not OK to spank the flight attendants though, eh?) Cool

I would think that getting hitched tends to bring a great deal of stress into the equation of life. Relax periwinkle, kick on some of those country tunes you like, and calm thyself! hmmm hold on wait a sec... No garth brooks that could be the reason for your nightmares!

Was the dream in colour?

Dream 1.

Mummy: something which can come back to life, ogres: private monsters or flaws

Left to ones own resources in a restrictive and alien environment, one must be careful not to let any possible personal flaws take control.

Dream 2.

Plane: ideals, mountain: real life, KAL: Korean

Ideals founder on meeting reality, but things turn out well as all parties develop a more realistic and tolerant attitude towards to each other.

It could also mean that there is improvement after people drop the idea that Korean ideals are an absolute guidestick to everyday living.

Transparent KAL uniforms (if they were in the dream): to keep a man a woman should retain some mystery in her, laying bare too much vulnerability might better be avoided.

It could be your subconscious warning you, or it could be just nerves; but even if it is the former, the keys to solving the problems are also in the dreams.

Relax, things will turn out well, just as with all good things some effort must be put in.

I had a really freaky dream the other night.

There I was--swimming in a lake. It was around sunset. I was splashing around, having a good time. I was trying to catch dragonflies in my mouth. I was alone. The landscape was a flat plain of volcanic rock. The sun was going down.

And then it set, and there was almost immediate blackness all around me. Almost no dimming whatsoever. And if there was, I wasn't paying attention, too busy playing in the lake.

The water was cold and I couldn't see a thing, and I had no idea which way the shore was. I would be in that cold dark lake throughout the whole cold, dark night.

I wimpered.

I was scared.
