I want to make a webpage, but I was finding it a little difficult.

I want something free, with ads that are not distracting, and with an easy to use system.

I want to basically enter information, and not mess around too much with code.

I don't want to use a blog format. I was using blogger, which I found really easy to use, but a blog doesn't suit my purposes.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I am a technophobe who knows the minimum, but, thanks to this thread, I just created a website in a couple of easy minutes!

Very Happy

I totally screwed up my attempt to build a cool web site with php log ins and redirects and database driven content, so I built an old-fashioned table-based site in html that I am now trying to convert to CSS, with a moderate amount of success. Once that's going it will be time for another crack at the php.

It's great fun to learn and do, so my vote is forget easy and ready to go and get into the nuts and bolts of making a website. Plus the cold winter months are only around the corner, when you'll have plenty of time to huddle up in a blanket over the keyboard.
