Several questions here from a bit of a computer simpleton:

I want to buy a tv but my room is pretty small and I don't want the clutter so I thought of buying a panel tv/lcd tv but my friend told me to just get a tv card for my computer. I've looked on the internet a bit but haven't found info for dummies. I've no idea what to do so here are my questions:

I just bought a new compaq presario laptop in May. How do I tell if it already has a tv card installed? (I couldnt find any drivers or files with 'tv' in them)

Can dummies install tv cards into a laptop? (Please bear in mind I cant even figure out how I would open it up, even if I could figure out how to put it in^^)

What specs do I need if I buy a tv card?

What requirements do I need for my computer for a tv card to work?

Thanks for your help

If your laptop is new, don't worry about it.

Beaver, what would you suggest if the PCMCIA slot is already occupied, as it is in my case with the wireless adapter?

What do you think of these?
