Just curious about those foreigners who do this kind of work in Korea.
Can they do this full time, or is it a part time thing with teaching being the other part?
If it is full time, what kind of visa is needed?
If it is part time, is it legal?
If it is legal, what kind of visa for a part time teacher/bartender?
What about someone who is a sort of entertainer? (plays in a band)
Anyway, if you can tell me it will be much appreciated,
thanks in advance. |

Bartenders get the best foreign chicks.
Both bodwise and sanity-wise

Yes, I've met both foreigners who work in bars (as bartenders) and who work in bands (play music). DJs can be included in that as well.
Never heard of any getting a work visa for that however. |

This link might help. You've got to scroll down quite a ways and read a lot of legal mumbo-jumbo, but it does explain all of the different kinds of visas and what you need to apply for one.
