If I buy a PSP then can I get it to work/play English games? How much would it cost? What about a UK power supply?
Its either that or a Ipod Nano.... decisions decisions! |

Any PSP from any region can play games from any other region. The only things that have been region locked are UMD movies.
As for a UK power supply and the cost of a PSP in Korea, somebody else will have to answer those for you. |

You can buy a usb cable that transfers data and charges the psp. for 3000 won .The 1.5 firware psp ha s been hacked . So for example you dont need to by games, just a big mem card and use bittorrent and an iso loader.. There is also a hombrew app to allow playing of any zone movies on the 1.5 firmware psp.
The game disks are unversal.
At present if your psp has the newer 1.51 or 2.0 firmware (new shipments to USA and Eorope ) your stuck untill the much anticipated downgrader appears, if ever.
I got the Korean release psp on release day. It was expensive (maybe 300.000 with 2 games and a hardcase at that time. Not sure about now. The psp memory cards are still pricey but with new players moving to the format things can only get better.
Check www.psp-spot.com for info on iso loaders and www.blackcats-games.com for isos. |
