Do you use Hangul 2005?
We have loaded it and replaced older versions on our school computers, but it seems it won't work well with documents previously created in other versions of the same program.
It loads them fine, but will not allow you to edit those documents. It just beeps at you when you try to type or edit them. It happens on every computer, and it's annoying. My Korean co-workers don't have an answer, and I can't read the Korean enough to figure out if there is some setting we are missing.
We are able to copy and paste into a new 2005 document, which works fine, but it's really F-ING STUPID that we have to do that (please excuse my italian). I have a hard time believing they would create a new program version that does this, but then again, this is Korea, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least that they do this to force everyone to buy another version or some stupid thing.
Has anyone else encountered or overcome this issue? |
