I'm looking to cook some pulled pork, so I went to carrepoo to find some on the bone which i can rub and cook for many hours before finally coating it in delicious BBQ sauce.

They had none!

What is it called in korea, where can I buy it and how much is it?

That happened to me last week, I finally found some sour cream, bought black olives, the guy at carefour gives me a discount on two avocados, chedder cheese, gournd beef, even some real jalapinos from mexico (carrefour) and then I go to the chip section, the are OUT OF NACHO CHIPS! So just had to settle for some flour tortillas I made.

That's not pork shoulder.

Honestly, I don't know what it will be called, but it's not that. Try going to a local butcher/checking out Costco if you know someone with a card.

I've been to costco no joy, carrepoo was a swing and a miss.

The local butcher had some but it was filleted and boned. In the end I just got a big hunk of pork, which is currently enjoying the effects of my BBQ rub

Are you trying to get some ribs for bbq ribs?

I've only ever bought it once here in Daejeon and that was in the fresh meat market...

i love barbecue also, but the thing that gives it that great flavor back home is they wood smoke it for hours and hours (after rubbing it with spices). i'm not sure how good it would be in a crock pot or however you cook it.
