I have no reason to doubt the validity of this, but would love for someone else to corroborate it.
My recruiter informed that effective of August 25th, the Korean government will no longer provide visa issuance letters, but rather now a visa issuance number.
This number, according to him, is to be sent along with the application in lieu of the visa issuance letter to complete the visa application process.
I don't see why he would mislead me, especially considering he wants me on a plane asap... but does anyone else have specifics? Not exactly pleased to have a new wrench thrown into the gears at the last minute, but as I'm already starting to see, 'tis the norm. |

You already asked this question. Do yourself a favor and don't ask the same question twice. Also, seems your boss already sent you the letter, so what does it matter? Just get it done with and get on a plane. Who gives a rat's butt what your recruiter says?
