Hey there,

We're in Seoul right now (9pm Sept 21st) and are returning southward in the morning. Before we do, we have one more item on our shopping list and we need help finding it.

Does anyone know if or where we can find a Biology textbook in English?

and while I'm on here,

Can anyone suggest a supermaket type establishment that has a relatively large selection of western foodstuffs?

We're holed up in a motel in Insadong, if that helps

Any tips or advice would be much appreciated,

į

For biology textbooks go to Kyobo bookstore (walking distance from where you are now) at ȭ station on the purple line (#5 line).

For foreign food your best bet might be Hannam supermarket. Get off at Ѱ station on line number #6. After exiting the subway look around for the Volvo building and go to the basement.

I know most books still use M-R Romanization, so you see "Kamsahamnida" but the spelling (and pronunciation) is մϴ actually, the pronunciation is ϴ, because it's contracted when speaking. Though I have occassionally noticed people who say it out with 5 syllables, it's unusual.
