I think that you're missing a few chromosomes. Beyond that, I have my own prophetic vision to share.
"Branson, Missouri, is the hub of western civilisation, and thus, shall be conusmed by the fires of righteous fury. Satan's bosom of Branson, prepare to meet annihilation. The Chinese dragon will awaken to devour the demonic Andy Williams."
Like your wife, I'm prone to random, dumbass predictions, and like you, I'm prone to meaningless posts. Sorry.
Oh yeah, regarding the link; again, I can engage in prophecy, just like that chump. |

Do you actually believe this guy, that The Lord spoke to him, personally? |

Isn't that what the prophetic about? Even beyond the prophetic, doesn't God speak to all of us? |

America will be hit again and again, until it repents and turns back to God. |

Many countries around the world have suffered far worse: famine, starvation and genocide, unending war etc because they departed from the word of God.
America has in recent decades gone down the same path. You could hardly call the US a christian nation any more: most of the population is atheist.
Adherence to Christianity has, historically, made nations strong. America forgot this. |

Genocide is God's way of punishing certain peoples?
Is this your position?
Tell me, rapier: which specific genocides have been God's will?

I have a tough believing Bush is in the white house because of his commitment to excellence.
His environmental record is absolutely appalling. It looks like he is more for capital exploitation than for environmental protection. Either greenpeace, rolling stone magazine are blinded by their hatred for this guy or I have to trust their facts.
His war in Iraq has been very detrimental to many people. I am glad Saddam is out, but why if he was so worried about genocide he hasn't done anything about Sudan?
I don't want to judge his faith, but his record is horrible and stands against Christianity. There are things that I like that he is doing, but to believe the white house if full of Christians is pretty literal.
I hate to be negative about Bush, because of all the Bush wackers, but man this guys record doesn't indicate Christianity. Maybe I'm wrong? |

About the flood: seems odd that at one point, God would be so disgusted with his creation that he'd wipe it all out (except Noah et al) and start again...and then throughout history, he'd still be disgusted, and he'd keep punishing us, but with nothing approaching the power and cruelty of the flood.
I mean, if Hurricanes Katrina and Rita are God's punishment to the US, for example, surely he could do a lot better than that. He could create an earthquake that would completely destroy the country, rip it apart and leave no survivors. He could send fireballs from space, millions of em, to smash into every home. Or, he could just simply will all Americans to drop dead. Or only those he saw fit to kill.
Then he could start over and do it right this time.
I think the fact that he is so disgusted with his creation suggests he made a mistake.
Maybe I'm misinterpreting the flood myth? I'm open to correction.
Anyway, I thought God saved his wrath until we were dead, and then judged us. Seems he also lashes out before we die...somewhat indiscriminately I must say...and, as horrible as the hurricanes have been, it's rather feeble compared to what God could do. What's up with these half-arsed gestures? |
