* Will accommodate 120 people comfortably
* Built with more than a million pounds of steel beams, and includes
dampeners that minimize the structure's vibration.

Just looking at the picture gives me the willies. Ain't no way I'd walk out there on a sheet of glass. I don't care how thick it is. |

in the CN tower, there's glass panel in there that ain't really a super cool thing to stand on.
I wouldn't feel REALLY great about going out there but if i were in the Grand Canyon i would make a POINT about going on it. |

No way they'd let it be built if it werent engineeringly sound. I'm acrophobic but I trust structures. Imagine the view!
I visited the Grand Canyon a couple years ago. Beyond awesome. But the haze from California is disturbing. |

'Engineeringly sound' is an intellectual concept. My family jewels do not respond to logic and argument. You've heard of 'heart in your throat'? My jewels would be close enough to my ear drums to shake hands, if they had any. No thank you. |

It looks quite exciting. But, I don't believe the OP that the structure jutting out over the canyon will support 72 million pounds, 72,000 maybe. And I don't believe that the structure jutting out over the canyon contains a million pounds of steel beams, not even a million pounds of materials. Please recheck the numbers or give a link. |

This is a beautiful engineering masterpiece and I'd love to see it.
But NO WAY I'm gonna walk around it. |

But you'll cruise at 10000 meters in a thin metal tube? |

It would be cool, but I'm not sure it's a good idea. It will be an eyesore. |
