1. Does anyone know if this is a legitimate recruiter, e.g., if you send them your original diploma can you expect to get it back? I know that sounds like a terrible question, but it has happened to people, so I have to ask; I don't know anything about them.
2. And since we're on the topic, do you know of any good or bad experiences people have had with RBI, or good or bad schools they recruit for? |

As of last December, 2004, and still now (unless the law has suddenly changed), you should NEVER send your original diploma to any recruiter, employer, or immigration office. I have never shown my ORIGINAL diploma to anyone in Korea. Just the worker at the embassy before I came.
What you do is get several photocopies of your diploma and get them certified at a Korean consulate or embassy and use those for each recruiter and employer. You can do this in person or by mail (overnight courier). I have been using the certified photocopies I made years ago for each new job. I still have some left over. Our newest teacher at my current hogwan did the same last December. Has this changed? |

RBI are the biggest recruiting group in busan and represent many many schools...
They are a professional outfit and have been around a while, however they really don't care much about what schools you are in, they are just matching bodies to schools..good and bad...
RBI are fine, I would be checking on the school in question first |
