I recently read that no passport information should be sent to a recruiter because they could use the info for fraud activities...is this a serious issue? Every recruiting place I have looked up asks for a copy of the picture page of the passport.
Thanks! |

Only send it when you're serious about the job they're offering. And then only send it to the school. That way you're safe.

I have the passport number blurred out on my jpeg, thanks to handy Microsoft Paint. Without the number, what could they do with a jpeg? |

Not only are the recruiters asking for a copy of the picture page of your passport but most of the schools are asking for the same at the start of the application phase. I just didn't send it. What to do |
