| Korea Times says today Corea has the highest suicide rate in the developed world. I would never have guessed. |

To them, if they can't have what they want, then life is not worth living- thats how many Koreans think...
Too bad mental health care is considered "taboo" and suicide prevention is almost non-existant.
I asked a student what does the government do to a person who is about to commit suicide;
He says, "The government doesn't care. It is a personal choice."
Then I asked what happens after a person commits suicide;
He says, "We wonder why he did it, other than that, nothing except notify the family. The government thinks of it as population control"
population control, huh???......sad. |
