I've been here 4 months andthe level of cultural stuff I've done is shaming. Is any festival/celebration thing going on this weekend?? What about the folk villages, how do i get there, what's there to do???

Not in Seoul, but the Andong Mask festival is going on, and it's one of those things that you really should try to catch. I think there's some sort of light festival going on in Jinju now too.

I'd love more info about this.

Strange that no one mentioned the costume/music performance Sunday night at City Hall. I went on a whim, and was charmed. Bored, but charmed.

The Seoul Drum Festival is coming up (October 6-9?) and I'll be sure to attend.

I went to the tourist office in the subway station in Itaewon, and just picked up a heap of pamphlets. Found some great clues for art exhibitions. It seems to be a good source of future answers for the OP's question.
