I'm leaving for a holiday and will be departing from Busan airport. I just have a few questions regarding this airport;

1) Can you get a re-entry visa there for South Korea as you can in Incheon?

2) How can I get to the airport from downtown Busan? Is a taxi a viable option (as I'm leaving very early in the morning)?

3) Does Busan have a duty free shop? (ie cig's etc...)

4) Is there just the one airport in Busan?

I know they're rather obvious questions, but no harm in asking.

1) Can you get a re-entry visa there for South Korea as you can in Incheon?
-Yes, only a single though(as in incheon), will take about 10 minutes...very easy to do, i do it everytime i fly out of there.

-however, if you are leaving early in the morning it won't be open as it is open only during business hours so check that out

2) How can I get to the airport from downtown Busan? Is a taxi a viable option (as I'm leaving very early in the morning)?
-Yes, it will cost about 10 000-14 000 won from Seomyeon.

There are also buses from all the major tourist hotels eg. lotte, paradise,etc....just ask at the front desk or ask people who are lining up...they have got to catch early planes as well, and if you pretend you are a hotel guest it can be free Smile , i have done this a lot in Tokyo to get to narita airport for an early morning flight(it is expensive to get from downtown Tokyo to Narita)

3) Does Busan have a duty free shop? (ie cig's etc...)
-Yes, it is pretty crappy though...but sufficient for cigs

4) Is there just the one airport in Busan?
-Yes but don't forget there are 2 terminals(international and domestic) and they are in different buildings a good walk apart from each other, the bus will stop at the international one first so get off there... just tell the taxi driver if in a taxi ͹γ (Gukje terminal) or International terminal
