| I went to the Kyobo Bookstore near City Hall for the first time last weekend, and noticed all the portraits of Nobel Prize winners in the entryway. There was one empty frame with a message like "reserved for a future Korean Nobel Prize winner". |

I've read some of his transated poetry....pretty descent
I didn't know he was in the running for an award though...hmmm

| There might be a good chance that the Korean scientist who has been doing all that stem cell/cloning research might win it...but that will only happen after his research has been applied to medicine. |

Since it's no surprise to you, perhaps you can fill us in on what it is about Harold Pinter that you thought to be so deserving compared to Ko? Maybe a previous post or two from you on the subject before in case I missed it, since surprise is obviously the furthest thing from your mind. |

You mean they took DJ's down!?
But yeah, I remember way back when Kyobo first put up that empty frame & message. Right around the time flush toilets made their grand debut across the country, as I recall. |
