Alright one of my most dysfunctional classes has been hurled back into my loving embrace. A bit of last minute inspiration has made come up with a lesson plan for the little beggars. They are about ready to go into high school, but as always their spoken English is well pathetic.

So I have devised a glorious scheme that requires me to get the names of the South Korean World Cup Team for 2005.

Google has not helped me, and as I love rugby not soccer I am not all that sure where to look.

Please Help!

errrr... thanks beaver. Now if you have suggestions on the 2005 team I would be most appreciative.

No worries already taken care of.

At my old hogwan I had a mixed middle school class, but for some reason the girls didn't show up one day. I did most of a lesson on languages, countries, and nationalities based around soccer players. 'Where is Ronaldhino from?', 'What language does he speak?', 'Where does he live?', 'What language do they speak there?'; 'Where is David Beckham from?', 'What is his nationality?', etc.

I'd suggest bringing in a list of players and having them make a 'dream team' listing players info. You could do ages, weights and heights (numbers review), nationalities, languages, countries, cities, and whatever else all in one lesson.

That's a good one, although, as you imply in your opening sentence Yu Bum Suk, rather male-centric. It's awful when the girls are left out. "Pakcheesong" seems to be the height of the average female middle schooler's footy knowledge sadly.... Very Happy
