I'm sure most SE Asian travellers will know of this airline but its worth looking at. www.tigerairlines.com. I am in HCMC and unfortunatly they only fly to Singapore (where they are based) from here. Once you get to Singapore though they have a few destinations. I have just paid a total of $360 for HCMC - Singpore - Phuket - Singapore - HCMC for 2 people - and thats not a connecting flight, we spend time in Singapore. hahaha oh god i was laughing so hard when I came out of their office. I could pay that with most airlines just for me to go to Bangkok. The price makes it worth going to Singapore first for a vacation in thailand.
Also if your in Singapore its worth taking the 5/6 hour bus trip to KL and then flying with airasia. www.airasia.com. All this makes travelling around SE Asia absurdly cheap.....anyone done something similar....?? |

Shame they don't do Seoul to Singapore really!
Ah well, they'll be useful when I'm living in Singapore next year. Ta. |
