I can go days without food, and I rarely if ever eat breakfast.

Herbal viagra? Laughing ... Korean ginseng is a good natural stimulant - Back in the U.S. I found that I could drive very long distances without getting sleepy by taking various ginseng pills...

I usually can't get started in the morning (and last till lunch...) without eating something kind of heavy like whole grain bagels, cream cheese, and orange juice...

In Korea, grilled tofu sandwiches (whole grain bread) with sprouts and hot sauce and/or mustard and tomato slice is very filling ...

My favorite lacto-vegetarian meal (prepared in about five minutes...) is pita-bread pizzas using those Korean iron grill things that look like rectangular waffle irons. Just place a pita bread, on grill over medium-high heat, place thick slices of Tillamook Pepper Jack cheese on it, close cover for a minute or so till cheese is mostly melted, then add a few tablespoons of Classico Tomato Basil sauce (best price at Lotte supermarket) sprinkle on some oregano leaves, close cover and cook for another minute or so - then turn off heat, but don't open the grill for another couple minutes - then eat (and repeat the process till you're stuffed...)

The Ayurveda recommends drinkng water before eating - and eating only half the amount you want to eat to fill up - so that your stomach will be filled with aproximately one-quarter liquid, one-quarter air, and one-half solid food...

(Personally, I just double those amounts - so my stomach gets twice as big Confused ...)

Yohimbe(sp?) is a vegetarian stamina herb, in the sexual sense of stamina. Or just get viagra, how much meat could possibly be in that little blue pill?

I don't have any books on it (nor have I ever had any ...) Actually, from browsing the Internet, I've seen a couple references to avurveda being introduced into Korea via Buddhist monks in the 6th century. Possibly, some of the herbal medicines they make up at traditional Oriental clinics in Korea (like Jaseng...) has assimilated some of that knowledge (or maybe not...)

My advice is to avoid any "ayurvedic" treatment or consultation that's high priced. Apparently the field is rife with quacks, con artists, and shady business enterprises trying to capitalize on westerners needing and/or seeking alternative therapies.

A New York ayurvedic clinic is charging $325.00 for an initial consutation.
http://niam.com/corp-web/AVMedConsult.htm ...
This other website with pretty pictures and some useful information offers an on-line "personal" consultation for $29.95. http://www.ayurveda-herbs.com/ayurveda-nutshell.htm but I'd be wary of that one also. In India you can probably get a consultation for free and intensive treatments at avurvedic retreats are relatively cheap.

Probably the best one (out of the ten or so I've checked...) on-line is this one - http://www.holisticonline.com/ayurveda/ayv_home.htm - unless there are hidden charges that I haven't noticed...

Of course, try Kyobo, Youngpoon, and What the Book - you can at least look over what they've got - if anything. Thailand book stores have much more - plus they have some ayurvedic clinics...

The foreign food store in Itaewon usually carries an ayurvedic elixir - or supplement of some sort - called Chyawanprash ... It's made by the Dabur company which claims over 100 years of experience of "authentic Ayurveda" ... It contains over 49 natural ingredients, including Amla - one of the highest sources of Vitamin C - and a kg. of it costs 14,000 won. Recommended dosage is one-to-two teaspoons a day, depending on age...

I'm sorry, but I need to take a moment to take a piss...

Great thinkers may have been veggies, but...

Great Artists have often been syphilitic. Should I get syphilis to be a better writer?
