i've been trying to find a belt with no buckle, and a leather-seller with the tools/knowhow to drive a few rivets. i checked a few 'leather shops' in itaewon and all they seemed to have was colored leather jackets and crap that jennifer beals c. 1982 would be embarrassed to wear.
anyone who was selling belts was only selling belts with buckles already attached.
any ideas? |

The belt district is intermingled with the coathanger district, along chongye-chon, between Tongdaemun and Chongno 4-Ga.
You can pick your belt, pick your buckle, and go from there. I'm sure they'll be able to accomodate your needs.
Pick up some hangers too while you're at it. Joan Crawford was right: No wire hangers! |

with the way markets are arranged in seoul, and since i got very little sleep last night... i can't tell if this is a sarcastic or serious reply.
but if you had a buckle as awesome as this, would you want any other? no. you'd want to keep the dream alive. |

| Dead serious about the belt district. Also has cheap umbrella shops, and zippers. |

| ok. thanks. it just sounded like it could have been sarcastic, like a large percentage of the replies for advice/directions on this board. |
