Anyone still having allergy problems? I live in Seoul now and sometimes get 2 hours of sleep a night because of allegies. I have lived in Busan before with no problems. Could it just be the pollution?

I don't really trust Korean doctors and I don't there is much than can be done to help allergies anyway other than temporarily relieving symptoms by taking medication.

I sympathize with your problem. When I was in Seoul I went through that too. The pollution was part of the problem, but the wind would often contribute, stirring up dust and gunk. I tried to spend as little time outside as possible and this helped a little. Do you also get the red eyes problem when you've been outside for a few hours?

I find a humidifier in winter helps, try not to keep your windows open much, and you might want to look into an air filter unit. In winter wear a medical mask. You feel like a dork, but it helps to keep the dust out and your face warm. I also brought a bunch of Sudafed (a decongestant) from Canada. I haven't found anything that works as well here.

I ended up moving south to Anyang area which has helped a little, but while the abundant nature has improved air quality, the pollen is now killing me. ARGH!!!!!!! Ya just can't win!!!!!

On days like this when the smog and dust seem cleaned by this nice fall air mass, is when I get the sniffles and watery eyes. I think I have been here so long, that clean air makes my system over react to something, bring on the smog of summer!
