How much did you drink? What was the format of the contest?

Congrats!

The format;

- 6 contestants (3 men and 3 women)
- 1 mug of beer each
- Had to suck the beer through a straw (no hands)
- And the person who finished had to tip the mug over their head to show that the mug was empty.

Not to belittle your monumental achievement, but drinking 1 mug of beer through a straw can hardly be called a drinking contest.

Technically it would be a sucking contest, wouldn't it?

The mug was two Imperial gallons and the straw was a one nautical mile. The contestants dangled in mid-air suspended by ropes tethered to a circling UH-60A Blackhawk helicopter, compliments of the US 8th Army. Quite a feat. Cheers, Lastat.

Wow, that's pretty hardcore drinking. No doubt killing off a majority of you brain cells in training is a prerequisite for participation. Wink

Congratulations Lastat. You're like a beer commando. Very Happy

I won a dinner for 2 at that Millennium Hilton Hotel in Seoul (not quite sure where it is though)

Actually, the most amazing feat that night was fighting my way through the muscle-bound, hardcore grunts that travelled from as far north as Paju and from as far south as Pusan to partake in that one particular event~~ that's about 20 people for every one person that participated.

So, in retrospect....it was a sight to be seen.

I did better than my friend, who participated in the Bratwurst (sp?) eating contest. Not only did he lose, he threw up on the winner....eeewwww!!!

The cool thing was that a really hot chick bought me a shot of jaagermister.
~~ the coolest part of the night were the jello-shots....great at $1 a pop~ can't beat it!

J-J~~~ I don't suck.....I lick Wink
