I have a friend who is visiting me and she's on a Tourist Visa, she wants to stay a bit longer so she is thinking of going to Japan and then coming back to Korea. My question is since it's just a tourist visa, can she just take a ferry to Japan and then take it right back? She doesn't need to go to the consulate right? Thanks! |

Yes she can do that with no problems at all..
However, immigration may become a little bit suspicious if she does do that so just suggest she stays a day or 2 in Japan and catch some sights..
Well, that is she is canadian(6 month visa), if she is American(only a 30 day visa) then it wouldn't look as suspicious |

Thanks for your help - she is Canadian so your right, they will be suspicious - she'll stay in Japan overnight. Thanks again. |
