My girlfriend has started watching dvd's on the laptop but unfortunately the screen goes into screen saver mode every few minutes.
I've gone into the control panel and set the power setting 'Turn off monitor' to 'Never' ... it still doesn't work though unfortunately
I have no idea as to what else I can do ??? |

The monitor off/on power saving settings have only an indirect effect on the screen saver (i.e. it will eventually turn the screen saver off, but only as an incidental effect when it shuts down the power to the monitor)
Right click an empty space on your desktop and select 'properties'. Go to the screen saver tab and from the pull-down menu select "none". |
