|
|
This morning when I tried to check my email, I was unable to even access the gmail login page. "Internet Explorer could not open the search page."
My MSN messenger also doesn't work, and when I try to sign in from the hotmail page, it goes to "The page cannot be displayed."
Any ideas what may have happened or what I can do to fix this? (It's on my laptop.) |

| I've been having connection problems with my internet for the last few days. However, the thing that sucks is that my internet will still connect to Korean websites like naver and cyworld. Who's your service provider? I'm thinking about changing ISP's. |

My service provider is KT Nespot.
I was using Explorer but just downloaded Firefox to try it that way; however, when I try to access any website with Firefox, it says my connection is refused.
I don't understand what's going on. |

| Mine is KT Nespot too...the other teachers at my school - who are in different buildings - have also had problems connecting with the same service....I'm asking my director today about my options for switching.. |

It's fixed now. It turns out it was an issue of changing from "automatically find a DNS" to "manual." A KT phone help guy gave me a few to input, and now I can access whatever sites I need.
If you have a similar problem with KT Nespot, you don't need to switch providers. Just call the help number: 100. Press 8, then press 2. It took about 45 minutes on the phone, but it was well worth it. |
