|
I live in a fairly new building(so I flush tp)....but lately my toilet has been acting up.
It will flush, then drain ever so slowly, till there's almost no water in it.
I put some drano type stuff down there, and plunged it with this funky K-plunger. It worked after that, for oh about 2 flushes.
This mornin, back to same old.
Any other advice? |

well, first of all- Drano does jack on toilets. Thats for dry drains. Plumbing is not m y area of expertise, but what I'd recommend is getting bu s y with the plunger as y ou have a serious clog going on. If that fails to work, you're going to need a plumber to come in with a snake and clear that blockage. Don't hesitate on this as it may get worse and lead to overflow...ewwww |

Try peeing in the sink. And leave the other in the bathroom where you work. (You may want to cut down on fiber for this to work out). |

That's a bummer. I once had two ladies home and I'd forgotten about my uncooperative crapper. Well, one used it, got really embarrassed and locked the door. No overflow though, but no boastable antics for me.
Anyway, I used a toilet brush wrapped in two/three shopping bags(couldn't find a toilet plunger at the time). Sterilized the bowl with lots of disinfectant and hot water allowing the water level to lower. Then, used the impromptu plunger vigorously on the stubborn hole until the water ran fast.
Lost two possible conquests before finding this out. |
