Krunk, n., English, slang: Korean + funk.
A condition involving a "funk" related to existence in South Korea in which the person experiencing said condition finds previously charming Korean habits, attitudes, actions, activities, behaviors, etc., to be anywhere from mildly unamusing to irritating to ; also characterized by typically frustrating life experiences in Korea and/or with Koreans to be momentarily infuriating; an irrational desire to just, "get the heck out of here!!"
Anyone else currently in a krunk?

Dang, not an original? But at least it was independently arrived at and has a different meaning! |

While not forgetting the Korean "Crunky Bar" an instant hit and souvenier for many an American visitor.
(Especially when they find out it has the sweetness factor of a good bar of sawdust. Not much to do with it but take it home.) |

It can be spelled either way. Its one of my favorite expressions, adopt it but don't bastardize it. |

I didn't adopt it, I invented it. Had no idea there was a crunky in the US and simply forgot all about the Korean Crunky bar. But, hey, that's with a C, so a different word. I refuse to relinquish it. It is the perfect description of these moods. Besides which, the use of krunky may help eliminate entire biaaaotch sessions. Imagine:
Scene: EFL teachers arriving at the local watering hole.
Dude: What's up? You look PO'd.
Dude II: Krunky, man. Feeling krunky.
Dude: Tru dat! Beer?
Dude II: Yup.
Dude and Dude II exit stage left.
What the heck does crunky as US slang mean? |

Crunk or krunk essentially means wild or hot. usage:
"keeping it krunk"
"That party was crunk"
"Yo! YOu got anymore crunk juice?" |

That bar cracks me up. When I visited my sister, she was telling me about the excellent chocolate she got from a brother-in-law in Japan. I asked whether she had tried the Crunky Bar
Her response: Oh yeah. I've been CRUNKED."
Hooray for Crunking as a Verb! |

OK. And I invented cow juice. You might call it milk, but you'd be wrong. |
