Anybody know if there are any Korean National Public Holidays around Christmas 2005.
I want to take leave then and my director sais there are NO Korean National Public Holidays at Christmas time. His school would never close anyway as parents/kids would complain (but I need a holiday).
He sais the holidays are at Lunar new year in late January 2006.
Also, any info on cheap flights to Thailand, China or New Zealand/Australis.

25 December and 1 January are public holidays.
But they fall on Sunday they are of no effect.
The next holiday falling in the week is the third day of the New Year, on 28 January 2006.
For such a long period without a break, let thy loins be girded! |

Many schools have a 'winter vacation' for a week. I'm trying to find out from my school whether they'll close, but no joy so far. It'd be nice to spend time on a beach somewhere. |
