|
|
I bought an x-box here, had extra memory installed and loaded it up on games. The question is, will I be able to use it in Australia? Or is there some technological issue that I don't know about that makes it incompatible with Aussie TV's?
Any 1st hand experience appreciated |

You'd only have issues if the signal format was different (ie. PAL vs NTSC). From what I've read and heard most Aussies have multi-system TV's so they should accept PAL or NTSC. If it's a korean system then it's NTSC so you'd have to be sure to have either a multi-system TV or an NTSC TV. Having said that I took a modded dreamcast back to Canada a few years ago and it worked like a charm. However, NA is almost exclusively NTSC. Hope this helps.

I did it the other way - brought my Australian tv up here and it works fine with my modded PS2.( from Singapore)
The PS2 is fine with aussie games and pirate copies ( I get mine from Singapore). Haven't actually bought any here yet.
The tv is a multi system and adjusts automatically to NTSC or PAL. |
