Hey

Not so exotic as some of the travel questions, but I'm looking for ways off getting around Seoul / and to the Airport while carrying luggage.

I need to do to a flurry of last minute obligations monday morning before catching a flight early monday afternoon.

Is there anyway I can get around carting my luggage around the city with me while I do my errands on my way to incheon airport?

Unfortunately, I won't have time to to my errands and return to my hostel...

I'm not up for driving in seoul, but is there anyway I can rent a car and driver for the morning?

Thanks, any help is appreciated!

I suppose it depends in part where you are and where you have to go. If many places, then a taxi might be easiest, if not cheapest.

Otehrwise, there are left luggage lockers at Seoul station (and Yongsan I believe). Dump your gear there and take the airport bus when you are done.

Which airline are you flying with? You might be able to check in at the City Terminal?

Thanks for the response,

i'm starting off near Hyehwa station and I'm running around the pyoung chang dong area. Unfortunately, seoul station's lockers did not seem to be able to accomodate full size luggage...

Taekbae (sp?) your luggage to the airport, they'll have it all ready and waiting for you (write the flight number)- just pick it up at their counter before you go to check in. If you are in Seoul now, you should be okay to send it (well, the big stuff) today or tomorrow to have it at the airport on Monday.

It's a door-to-door delivery/courier service. I think you can do it through convenience stores or else ring one of the companies to pick up your stuff from your hostel.
Sorry, I haven't had to do it in Korea yet, but used to do the same in Japan whenever I travelled overseas; and my friend once sent suitcases from the airport to Gwangju, just not the other way around...

Hopefully some other poster can help out with the finer details..? or if your Korean's okay, ask your hostel to help arrange it..?

You can drop the luggage by the store. I am here at 10 in the morning.

Thanks so much, I went to Tourist Information center and the extremely helpful woman working called the company and arranged a hostel pickup.

FYI its 6000 to 10000 won for a 30kilo bag. They will pick it up for you and you get it at the airport. It usually takes three days to get to the airport and costs an extra 2000 to 6000 won for every day after the third.

Thanks again!
