This Jackie Chan film was interesting. I expected it would be in English or have English subtitles. I feared that it might be in Mandarin (which I am so-so at) and I considered a faint possibility that it might be in Cantonese (unfortunately for me) but in fact it is very interesting that the film uses at least five different languages: Mandarin, Korean, Cantonese, English, and a South Asian language I guessed to be Hindi. No English subtitles of course. Though the story was cheesy and asexual (typical Jackie Chan stuff) and the costumes were appalling (those helmets! geez...) I amused myself trying to make what sense I could of the Mandarin, Cantonese, and Korean bits. I recognized a few phrases from the time I've spent in HK and here, but it was mostly hopeless. The Indian chick was hot, the Korean chick was OK.
