Let's say you have an E2 visa and you have a special talent (i.e. music, computers) that you want to put to use in a limited part-time job or self employed business, is this possible to do legally? Has anyone been able to do this? Do you need another visa in addition to the E2? If so, please explain. |

In theory it's possible (so claims immigrations website). However, you do have to gather the right documents and register the job with immigration. I am not sure what their criteria for permitting such jobs is.
Also, you won't get a new visa, but rather permission to carry out work for which your visa is not intended. They'll write this on your ARC. |
